Update: OK, time to end the suspense. It's an inch long screw. Abby was "taking a nap" and I heard choking. I rushed in to check on her and Abby sort of started crying a little, coughed a couple of times, looked at me and said "screw." She had unscrewed the pull from a drawer and swallowed the screw that was holding it on.
Makes for an adventurous beginning to the labor day weekend.

Did she have to eat a lot of Sauerkraut? That's what I had to do after 'eating' a pen's cap for lunch... Might be a German thing though...;-) Glad to hear all has 'passed'.

No sauerkraut was required, although she did attempt to use toothpaste over the weekend.

It looks like one of those built in turkey thermometers that you find in a Butterball that pops up when it is done.
...but I'm guessing that's not the right answer.
Ha! No it's not a turkey thermometer. How we found out that she ate it was, she told me!
