The New Sandbox

Abby got one of my favorite birthday presents for her birthday this year from Grandpa Ken - a Home Depot gift card!! The intent was for us to get the materials to build her a sandbox and that's what we spent our weekend doing. Daddy was hard at work making the sandbox perfect.

Abby couldn't wait for the completion of the sandbox and had to jump in and run around as soon as we got the sand in it. She got the apron she's wearing in the picture from a Kids Building Clinic at Home Depot when we were there to get all of the supplies.

Here it is - all done! It took Zoe awhile to decide it was ok for her feet to touch the sand but now they both love it and ask to go play in the sandbox all the time! Thank you Grandpa Ken!!
