River and the Lamp Shade

River went to get fixed this week. We brought her home with strict instructions from the vet to keep her quiet. Although we wondered if the vet had ever met a six month old golden retriever, we have been doing our best. For River, I think the worst part is having to wear the "E-Collar" that keeps her from licking the wound. This first picture is River feeling sorry for herself:


The dog did get some revenge on the collar this morning, although she got herself into trouble in the process.



Having a dog can be exhausting.
